  • Since moving to Bali in July 2019, Jade has poured her entire life and energy into the learnings and teachings of yoga. After working in education for eleven years, Jade found herself immersed in a 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Radiantly Alive Studio, Ubud followed by a month long mentorship program in September, co-teaching and studying yoga influenced by the classical Non-Dual Tantrik Philosophy. Jade has been strongly called to teach yoga, inspired by the experience and knowledge of the vast array of teachers leading Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Yin Yoga, Embodied Flow™ Yoga and Meditation classes.

  • Johnny has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and teaching since 2019. He’s completed 500 hours teacher training in Hatha and Ashtanga styles in India, and holds a Psychology MSc. His classes draw on yogic and contemporary science to support positive Vinyasa and Hatha-based practises which invite us to be curious about our experiences and our relationship with living. Johnny works as a musician and uses sound as a tool for meditation and immersion, drawing on Yin and Nidra traditions for deep relaxation and exploration.

  • Katie is a friend, devotee and huge supporter of Yoke. She cares deeply and pours all the steadiness of her heart into her offerings. There’s a tenderness to her tone, a clarity in the tenderness of her words and a brightening in her eyes which makes you feel seen. Katie is in the laboratory of her body and is interested in the mystery that moves through all things.

Rooted in the traditions of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and deeply influenced by the philosophy of Shaiva Tantra, Katie’s teaching invites students into an intimate relationship with self. Her offerings are a weaving of trauma-informed practice, functional anatomy, yin yoga, and yoga nidra to create spaces that are so deeply held.

Katie is passionate about helping students soften out of perfectionism and rediscover yoga as a living, breathing relationship rather than something to master. Aiming to guide practitioners back toward their own inner intelligence and the subtle magic of simply being alive.

Katie will be joining us for the entire 200 hours of the training. Katie has been teaching at Yoke since we opened 2023 and I deeply trust her.

  • Anita has been teaching since 2020, after completing her 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa training in India, along with a 50-hour Yoga Anatomy course. Known for her dynamic and thoughtful teaching style, Anita focuses on alignment and adjustments to help students move safely and effectively through their practice. Blending mindful movement with energy. Her classes encourage a deep connection to the body, intentional movement, and a balanced flow between challenge and relaxation. Anita’s goal is to empower students to explore, grow, and find confidence in their practice, both physically and mentally.

  • Kate’s path to yoga is rooted in study, care, and attention. She previously worked in academia, studying literature, Latin, and palaeography, teaching and writing with a grounding in language, history, and theories of cognitive embodiment. When her daughter became seriously ill, Kate moved toward a different kind of learning: one shaped by love, uncertainty, and deep attentiveness to the fragile wisdom of the body. This shift led her toward work in service and community. She has since worked within the charity sector addressing health inequalities and has founded a national support group for parents navigating serious childhood illness while also establishing wider medical research initiatives. These experiences continue to inform her understanding of balance, resilience, and care, as do her accredited training in health and wellbeing coaching. Kate found yoga while seeking greater trust in the body. Through consistent practice, yoga became a way of returning to breath, rhythm, and embodied presence. She trained in Hatha and Vinyasa with Rila Yoga, and her teaching is grounded in traditional practice, thoughtful sequencing, and the balance between effort and ease. Her classes are shaped around transformation and subtle shifts in energy, using breath, movement, and pause to support change on both physical and internal levels. She works with students of all levels, from beginners to intermediate, offering an inclusive space to explore stillness and movement with embodied awareness and respect.

  • Crystal is a holistic sober coach, yoga teacher and sound healer who turned to yoga to reconnect with herself and support healing after a challenging period in her life. Having left her corporate career behind, she deeply understands the importance of cultivating strength, balance and wellbeing in everyday life.

Her approach to yoga blends authentic practice with inclusivity, mindfulness and real-life application. Classes emphasise the mind body connection and nervous system regulation, offering practical tools you can use both on and off the mat. This is accessible, grounding yoga designed to help you feel more present, regulated and at home in your body.

From Crystal’s Nurturing Flow, expect a blend of pranayama, fluid movement, soft sequencing and a gentle transition into restorative postures, finishing with a deeply nourishing savasana.

  • Maria has flowed with yoga for 10 years and her teachings focus on mindful movement, creating space in the body, and deep rest. After completing her 200 hrs YTT at Yoke in 2025, she learned the value of teaching from a place of awareness and intention. Her classes invite students to use movement and asanas as a form of exploration into the depths of the body, allowing openness and creativity to cultivate naturally over time.

  • Yoga matters to Lizzie. It’s become a tool which brings her back to my centre. It creates space away from the noise and distractions of life and supports a strong, healthy, and vital body. Through yoga, she’s learned how to move with intention rather than force, feel at ease in my body, and live well — now and long into the future. For Lizzie, yoga has become more than a physical practice but a way of life that supports inner strength, self-connection, and aligned living. I love sharing this practice as a way to guide and empower others to reconnect with their own inner power and sense of brightness. Her classes blend functional movement, strength, and mobility with mindful flow. We move in a way that builds physical strength while also cultivating calm, presence, and self-trust. Classes offer a space to recharge and rejuvenate, and students often leave feeling grounded, energised, and more at home in themselves.

  • Chloe found yoga almost 10 years ago on a life changing trip to Thailand. Since then, she has found it to be a constant companion and grounding practice in an ever evolving and growing life.

She completed her 200 hours at the beautiful Sampoorna Yoga School in Goa, India 7 years ago. Her classes encourage self inquiry with an emphasis on discovering true inner strength through a deeper mind body connection.

  • Icenie began her relationship with yoga whilst at university, interested in the movement and becoming more aware of the impacts on the mind, diving deeper into meditation & breath. Icenie enjoys creative sequencing, building in steadiness and dropping into presence by using the breath to guide her students back to body.

  • After many years of experiencing the healing and transformative power of Yoga I decided I wanted to share my passion with others. I trained in the tradition of Krishnamacrya and TKV Desikachar with Paul Harvey at the Centre for Yoga Studies and completed the 500 hour BWY and CNHC accredited teacher training and Yoga Therapy course in 2012. Yoga has been an incredible support to me through so many phases and journeys in my life, but particularly during my pregnancy, the birth of my son and then the postnatal period. I did some further training after the birth of my son to support women during pregnancy, birth and postnatally.

Now more than ever, I am so grateful for all the teachings that have been offered to me over the years by so many and it brings me great joy to be able to share these with others. I am amazed at how just the simple act of joining movement with breath with awareness can support us to find more moments of stillness and space within and to discover a richer, deeper relationship to our self.
